Ocean Avenue Community Clean-up Task Force

This event occurs every last Saturday of each month.  The task force consists of neighborhood residents and merchants who volunteer a couple of hours to help beautify the Ocean Avenue commercial strip.  Volunteers do everything from sweeping the sidewalks, tending to sidewalk trees, and removing graffiti from the lamp posts, traffic signs, fire hydrants, and other city structures. 

Volunteers meet up in front of Java on Ocean from 10am-12pm.  Free lunch is provided after the event at different neighborhood restaurants.  So come on out and meet neighbors, mingle, and help us beautify Ocean Avenue!

Holiday Decoration Annual Fundraiser and Event

Every year, usually the first Saturday in December to decorate Ocean Avenue for the holidays.  Stay tuned for the official date. We want to make Ocean Avenue more festive each year.  Come join to make Ocean Avenue more festive during the holidays!  Prior to decorating the Avenue, we hold a fundraising mixer for residents to come out, chat with neighbors, mingle, and raise money for decorations.  Dates for the fundraiser event will be announced.
